Living with a dog who displays fear and aggression can be very stressful and difficult. It can also be a safety risk, especially for children. You may consider rehoming your dog because you don’t know what else to do.

I’m here to help! Through proven humane training methods, I’ll work on changing the way your dog feels about the things that are worrying him. I’ll also assess your dog’s lifestyle and recommend changes to help him feel safer and happier.

All training starts with a 90-minute virtual consultation with your trainer, Amanda Factor. You’ll get:

• A deep dive into your dog’s behaviour, an assessment, and priorities for training

• Steps you can take ASAP for relief from any problem behaviour

• Recommendations for enrichment or products to aid with training

• A customized guide with recommendations, plus any helpful handouts or videos

• 2 weeks of email support

From there, you can continue training either in-person in Toronto or virtually!

These services are for clients who have completed a 90-minute new client consultation.

DAY TRAINING

My signature service! My day training program is the perfect option for busy dog guardians. Let me do the heavy lifting and work on-on-one with your dog in your home and neighbourhood. You don’t need to be present!

Your dog will learn new skills at a faster rate from an experienced, expert trainer during our 45-60 minute sessions.

We’ll meet for 1-2 “transfer sessions” where I’ll demo what I’ve been teaching your dog and coach you on continuing your dog’s training.

All day training packages include:

  • Welcome bag for new clients

  • WhatsApp/email updates

  • WhatsApp/email support during business hours

  • Communication with your veterinarian (if needed)

  • Certificate of completion

  • Discount code for future packages

4 sessions + 1 transfer session (approx. 2 weeks) $500

6 sessions + 1 transfer session (approx. 3 weeks) $640

8 sessions + 2 transfer sessions (approx. 4 weeks) $940

PRIVATE COACHING

Want to be more hands-on with your dog’s training? We can also meet for private coaching sessions where I’ll teach you how to train your dog! Offered in-person in Toronto’s west end (please check my service area map) or virtually.

I offer single private coaching sessions. If your dog has a complex issue like reactivity, fear, or aggression, multiple coaching sessions will be recommended.

Single session (1 hour) $119
